I chose this product because I didn't want just a plain black case and liked the design (which I thought was just white swirls on black) but when I received it, I was pretty disappointed. I thought it would be sort of classy but it was just downright gawdy with the gold glitter. Luckily, I'm an artist and had some acrylic paint laying around, so I painted over all of the swirls (took HOURS) and made them white swirls (like I originally wanted) with some pops of color here and there. Now I absolutely adore the case!

I love the design of the case itself, I haven't used the kickstand yet, but I'm sure when I'm on an airplane I will. I really like how it covers the white parts on the front of the Kindle, protecting it from getting marked up. The magnetic closure is also really nice.

One last thing - be prepared to air the case out for a few days before you use it. Mine smelled soooooo bad but I opened it up and aired it out for a few days and now there's no smell at all.
