I got this and one of the Skins for my Kindle 2. I keep the Skin on it all the time and when I'm traveling with it or not using it, I put the Kindle 2 in here. I thought the case would be harder than it is, but it offers reasonable protection anyway. With the Skin and the straps inside this Color Cube, the Kindle 2 does NOT slide around and there's still a little room if you want to use the inside pocket. My complaints are minimal and trivial: The straps inside are velcro and the harsh velcro is right over the Kindle 2's screen, but you can of course turn the thing over or get a protective film. The handles are stiff and don't bend back that easily, making this case take up a little more space than you'd think. The soft padding inside leaves fuzzies on the Skin.
Bottom Line: This is a totally fun little case, I do recommend it, & I would *absolutely* buy it again.
