When the case arrived I was pleased with the color, but it smelled awful. So, I put it ourside for a couple of days in the fresh air and that cured that problem. Because I had read previous reviews I was not surpised about the smell, so no problem. But the plastic cover for the screen was totally useless; it smeered the screen to unreadable; I just tossed it. Overall, I am finding the sleeve a useful item, but since I rarely travel more than a couple hundred miles away from home and could just as easily put it in my purse, I don't think it is necessary.
