The silicone is very good. The quality is superior. I would have wish to see two holes on the left side as to be able to use it inside the Kindle leather book cover with the two grips to keep the kindle in place. I made two little holes with a razor blade and now I can use with the leather cover. Now it's perfect.
The lamp is great and can be used for other purposes too. It has a low and high lighting capability and really does the job.
