This product works nicely, and when I'm on the go and have many things in my bag, I prefer using this case to the Kindle cover because it's protected from all sides. The material is not very thick; it's like a wet suit, but it seems to be enough padding.
I have the black version and it's kinda masculine and teenager-y with the gray and red details. If you prefer reading your Kindle in the cover, this isn't for you because the cover does not fit inside this case. It works well and is a snug fit.
