When I got my Kindle I wanted to be able to carry it around safely without the case being dangerously thin or small. I also wanted to be able to put other things in it that I might want to, like my wallet or phone, because I don't like to carry a purse. I also didn't want it to be big and bulky or heavy. This case is the perfect size for what I wanted it for. I can put my wallet, palm pilot, checkbook in it and still put the light and charging cord inside. There's a divider that is foam and I put my Kindle behind that in the sleeve I got and it all works just fine. It has a handle and a shoulder strap. I really like it. It is cheap enough too that if my needs for a case change, I didn't blow bucks on it or anything. I'm very happy with my decision.
