I wanted more protection than a skin alone, but not a "book" case. Have several traditional cases. This shell is very well made and the cutouts are accurate. It fits over my DecalGirl Michel Keck PaperCut skin: shows it off but adds extra protection, much like the shell on my computer. Am using it w/ m-edge sleeve. That stays in bag, just pulling out the DX. The delivery was super prompt: with Priority Mail ordered Friday night and picked up at Post Office this morning. From CA to WI! Am very pleased and would recommend if you are looking to use your DX almost bare.
