I've had this product for just about a month now and there is no smell, the glitter doesn't come off, the magnetic closing works just fine, all of the buttons and ports are open with easy access and the kindle fits perfectly into the case. I guess my only complaint is when I have the kindle read to me while I'm driving I wish I could close the case, but I can't with the headphones attached. I'm really glad I bought this product to protect my kindle. I'll update if I ever drop it and let everyone know how it holds up.
